About Kibugubya Cooperative
Founded on grounds of like-mindedness in carrying out farming and agro-processing to suit both local and International markets so as to enhance the livelihood of members and the local community while positively impacting the environment leading to socio-economic transformation. The cooperative society empowers and supports members and local community through various programs.
Our Focus
We specialize in potatoes and cassava farming and processing, providing comprehensive support from Good Agronomic Practices (GAPs) to value addition and market linkage, ensuring sustainable income for our members and positive environmental impact.
Our Impact
Through community-based approaches, we have empowered over 5,000 local community members, improved livelihoods, and created sustainable agricultural value chains that benefit communities as well as enhancing the ecosystem.
Our Story
We legally registered with the ministry of Trade, Industry and cooperatives under the cooperative societies act CAP 107 with registration number P.25917/RCS on 03 April, 2025. Today, we are thriving working with over 300 smallholder farmers with significant number of youths and women.
