Our story
Founded in 2018, Kibugubya Potatoes and Cassava Cooperative Society emerged from the shared vision of local farmers in Kibugubya who recognized the power of working together. What started as a small group of 20 farmers has grown into a thriving cooperative of over 500 members across multiple districts.
Our journey began when farmers faced challenges accessing quality seeds, modern farming techniques, and fair market prices. By pooling resources and knowledge, we've transformed not just individual farms, but entire communities. Today, KPCCS stands as a beacon of agricultural innovation and community development in Uganda.
Through partnerships with agricultural institutions, government agencies, and development organizations, we continue to expand our impact, bringing sustainable farming practices and economic opportunities to rural communities across the region.
